About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food science, microbiology, or a related field, with proven experience in quality management within the food industry. They will lead a team of quality assurance professionals, conducting audits, investigating complaints, and providing technical decision support.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure product safety and quality
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, customer specifications, and internal quality standards
  • Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals
  • Conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement
  • Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field
  • Proven experience in quality management within the food industry
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
