Personal Carer Wanted for Home Care

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced carer to provide compassionate support to elderly clients in their own homes.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience in personal care with a minimum of 12 months
  • A current Australian driver's license
  • A registered and insured car for work purposes
  • Australian working rights
  • Availability to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 8am - 6pm, Monday to Friday (some weekend rosters available for experienced carers)

This is not a vacancy for disability or to work in a facility/nursing home.

  • Hourly rate: $30.86 - $34.16 per hour + 12% super + 92c km allowance + paid travel time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care assistance with daily living tasks such as showering, dressing, medication management, assisting with mobility and therapy goals
  • Assist with domestic duties like light cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and general chores around the house
  • Offer social support with transportation to appointments & social outings, shopping and providing emotional support and companionship
  • Conduct administrative tasks such as reporting and progress notes
