About the Role

As an Economist in the Australian government, you will contribute to shaping policies that impact the economy, working across fiscal and monetary policies, budgetary policies, domestic and international economic situations, and forecasting changes in the economic environment.

You will engage in policy research and development, analysing data and information on financial, labour, taxation, housing, retirement advice, investment, climate and energy, and small and family business sectors.

  • Analyse and summarise data and information on economic trends and issues
