The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Manager to oversee all maintenance operations at our largest organics processing facility in the southern hemisphere. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving improvements in output, processes, and quality, while ensuring that maintenance and repairs are planned and carried out safely and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of fitters and plan their day-to-day maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance of all machinery.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and enhance site operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes.
- Develop positive working relationships with other support functions and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with Cleanaway's safety standards and regulatory requirements.
About You
- Proven experience in a similar maintenance supervisory role within a large industrial or processing facility.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing effective maintenance plans for fixed plant and equipment.
- Understanding of reliability-centred maintenance, root cause analysis, and their application in developing a high-performance culture.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is essential.
