Library Applications Analyst Position

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Library Applications Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the Collections & Access Services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all digital library systems and services provide a high-quality user experience for the University community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing and Advocating for Improvements: You will assess and advocate for improvements to library systems and related processes.
  • Documentation: You will document systems, including key interfaces with university systems.
  • Driving Innovation: You will seize opportunities for library technologies to positively impact teaching, learning, and research outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Technical Expertise: You should have demonstrated experience in supporting integration between existing systems in a complex operating environment.
  • Analytical Skills: You should possess demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the capacity to make informed decisions regarding complex issues.
  • Interpersonal Skills: You should have well-developed interpersonal skills allowing effective communication with staff across the organisation and a demonstrated commitment to a high level of customer service.
  • Teamwork and Independence: You should demonstrate the capacity to work as an effective team member or independently as required by the task or situation.
  • Contemporary Technology Skills: You should have knowledge of contemporary use of APIs, HTML, CSS, and scripting languages such as PowerShell.
