We are seeking an experienced retail professional to join our team as a Sales Assistant. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the customer experience in our store. You will be responsible for building trusted relationships with customers, sharing expert knowledge of our products, and supporting merchandising and stock management.
Job Description:As a Sales Assistant, you will work closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their expectations. You will be confident in your product knowledge and able to share this expertise with customers. You will also be responsible for maintaining a high standard of stock management and ensuring that our store is presented in a welcoming and organized manner.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, product knowledge, and in-store operations. They will be able to lead by example and bring a warm, knowledgeable presence to their work. They will also be available to work regular shifts and contribute to a positive team culture.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- 2+ years of retail or customer service experience
- Strong communication skills and a solutions-focused mindset
- Experience mentoring team members or acting in a leadership capacity
- Confidence managing customer concerns and resolving issues professionally
- A hands-on attitude – able to lift stock (up to 15kg), work on your feet, and stay engaged
