Drive innovation and growth in the manufacturing and energy sector as a Cloud Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS).

About the Role:

AWS is seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to work with our Enterprise Manufacturing and Industrial customers and other AWS teams to craft cloud-based solutions primarily in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute technical strategies alongside sales and business development to delight Enterprise customers through a deep relationship with AWS.
  • Partner with customers and several AWS teams to design, implement, and migrate applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
  • Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community through authoring or contributing to customer-facing publications.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
  • 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
  • Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.

Estimated Salary:$140,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
