Job Title: Senior Allied Health Professional

Job Description:

The position of Senior Allied Health Professional at our major metropolitan hospital is a key role in the strategic direction and professional governance of our allied health workforce. We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to lead the implementation of recommendations from the Victorian Allied Health Workforce Project.

This includes coordinating allied health student clinical placements, leading the development of innovative models of care, and providing operational governance to multidisciplinary teams working in acute inpatient and subacute services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in a relevant allied health profession
  • Current registration with AHPRA or membership of a relevant professional association
  • Recent experience in managing delivery of allied health services at a senior level
  • Extensive and advanced clinical knowledge and skills in working with allied health professionals
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
