Outdoor Maintenance Professional Job Description

The role of an Outdoor Maintenance Professional involves undertaking routine maintenance tasks in various outdoor settings, including parks and roadsides.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, have a keen eye for detail, and take pride in their work.

Responsibilities include safely operating and maintaining equipment such as zero-turn mowers, brush cutters, and small power tools.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring accurate records of work completed and reporting any issues that may impact service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Must hold a Valid C Class Manual Licence
  • Ride on Mower experience of Council Controlled sites is highly regarded
  • Current White Card and Working with Children check or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to operate Zero Turn Mowers, brush cutters and small power equipment
  • Knowledge of herbicide applications and techniques
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
