Job Overview

The Byford Tavern is seeking an experienced and passionate chef to join our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Head and Sous Chef in day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Maintain kitchen hygiene, food safety, and compliance with health regulations.
  • Manage stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients from suppliers.
  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience in a similar role is essential.
  2. Outstanding attention to detail and presentation skills are required.
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  4. Strong organisational and time management skills are necessary.
  5. A Food Handlers Supervisor Certificate is also required.
