SMSF Accountant Professional

Job Summary
RSM Australia is seeking a highly skilled SMSF Accountant Professional to join our team. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Superannuation Fund Financial Statements and Tax Returns;
- Prepare and complete SMSF Audit work papers and reports;
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with all current, legal and accounting reporting standards;
- Identify accounting and compliance issues;
- Complete requisite regulatory forms;
- Comply with lodgement program by meeting lodgement dates and requirements;
- Train and coach junior team members, acting as a mentor/buddy;
- Prepare documents for client meetings / assist with client meetings as required.
Requirements:
- Business / Commerce degree with Accounting Major;
- 2/3 years in a similar role;
- Strong Communication Skills;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
- Committed to continuing professional development.
