About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and friendly individual to join our team as a Food Services Assistant at VMCH. As a key member of our close-knit team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional catering services to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook basic meals, ensuring a high standard of presentation and quality.
- Deliver food and refreshments to residents, taking into account special dietary needs and preferences.
- Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Requirements
- Food Safety Certificate Level I (HLTFSE001) or working towards completion.
- Previous experience in a food services environment, preferably in an aged care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on client service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
