About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Services Assistant to join our team at VMCH. As a key member of our food services team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional catering experiences for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals and snacks to meet the nutritional and hydration needs of our residents.
- Ensure that all food and refreshments are presented in an appealing manner and to a high-quality visual standard.
- Work collaboratively with our team to provide excellent customer service and ensure that our residents receive the best possible care.
Requirements
- Food Safety Certificate Level I (HLTFSE001) or progression towards the completion of a Food Safety Certificate.
- Previous experience working in a food services environment and/or at an aged care facility.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work within a team and to work with minimum supervision.
