Job Title: Field Communications SpecialistAbout the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a skilled Field Communications Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining and decommissioning telecommunication networks across various clients and work types.

You will be working onsite/in field as part of one or multiple crews daily and may be required to participate in a rostered-On Call Availability, including working outside normal working hours on a regular basis. This role also requires you to work away from home from time to time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate/report on scheduled works changes or to your supervisor
  • Participate in actual site start up (i.e., mandatory pre-start activities)
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A current Driver's license
  • Construction OH&S Induction Card
  • MR or higher Truck License
  • Experience in an Infrastructure Services environment
  • Experience in the Telecommunications industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to respond calmly and decisively during a major incident or emergency
  • Ability to work autonomously within teams
  • Experience working at heights
