Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished pastry expert to join our team of talented professionals. In this key role, you will be responsible for preparing exquisite pastries and desserts for corporate functions and events.

Our ideal candidate will possess exceptional culinary skills, creativity, and a passion for delivering high-quality results. You will work closely with our team to ensure consistently high standards of food preparation and quality.

Responsibilities include decorating pastries using a variety of icings and toppings, adhering to strict cleaning and food hygiene protocols, and contributing to the development of innovative food promotions.

Additionally, you will be expected to maintain a deep understanding of all pastry methods involved in the preparation of items produced in the pastry kitchen.

Requirements
  • A natural flair for artistic expression and a creative approach to food design
  • Exceptional communication, delegation, and training skills
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Certificate in Commercial Cookery Level 4 or above, Certificate 3 in Patisserie or equivalent
  • Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and WH&S standards
