The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the operation and requirements of modern sound systems.

We are seeking an AV Technician to join our team at Chisholm Institute. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing hardware and software faults, solving technical issues, and working with clients, staff and contractors to identify and address audio-visual and general technology-related issues.

The role involves leading projects, providing specialist advice on audio-visual system changes, ensuring these are implemented to standards, and developing training and knowledge material to support equipment use.

Additionally, the role involves conducting audits, updating and maintaining audio-visual and video conferencing equipment in the Asset Register, delivering face-to-face and remote training sessions, and assisting in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning to meet future audio-visual and video conferencing equipment and corporate technology needs.

About You

You should have a degree or relevant postgraduate qualifications in information systems, information technology, computing or business and experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, skills and/or education/training.

A strong background in design, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of professional audio-visual, video conferencing, and control systems is essential.
