Job Summary

We are seeking a Cyber Security Risk Adviser to contribute to our cyber security posture by leading risk assessments and providing practical guidance on identified risks and controls.

This role will work collaboratively in a global team, responsible for providing cyber security advice and guidance in a business context to enable innovation and support digital transformation.

Security risk management will be applied across various technologies, from legacy systems to industrial automation solutions.

  • Provide specialist cyber security guidance for IT and Operational Technology projects with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Conduct cyber security risk assessments of new and existing technologies to identify risks and controls balancing security and operability.
  • Build strong relationships to support the broader organisation in adopting Group Standards, Procedures and Guidelines related to cyber security.
  • Contribute to internal processes and initiatives within Cyber Risk and Advisory, and delivery of the Cyber Security strategy.
  • Support the execution of targeted annual risk reviews of key functions, technologies and systems.
Requirements

Candidates should have practical experience in a cyber security-based role, preferably in a large organisation or asset-intensive industry.

Experience in identifying and understanding cyber security risk, preferably in IT and OT contexts is essential.

Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills are required to build credibility and collaboration.

A commitment to safety is mandatory.

Familiarity with industry frameworks used for identifying and managing risk (e.g., NIST, ISO, NERC CIP, ISA/IEC) is an advantage.
