The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Asset Manager Lead to join our client as an IT/OT Project Manager responsible for leading the successful delivery of critical projects involving IT/OT solutions within asset management. This contract is through until EOFY with scope for extension.

The Role

  • You will oversee the planning, development, and execution of projects involving IT/OT components, ensuring alignment with business change objectives.
  • Manage vendor and contract relationships to guarantee optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and alignment with agreed commitments.
  • Lead and mentor project teams to foster a high-performance culture and ensure quality and consistency across project deliverables.
  • Track project progress, report on milestones, and proactively address bottlenecks to maintain momentum.
  • Collaborate with fellow Project Managers and Scrum Masters, ensuring cohesive project execution and adherence to Agile methodologies.

About You

To be a successful applicant, you will have extensive experience working across the Asset Management space, preferably within utilities. You will also have:

  • Experience delivering IT/OT projects within asset management or similar sectors, preferably with technologies such as ESRI, Maximo, or RedEye.
  • Proven ability to work in Agile delivery environments, managing and refining backlogs, and supporting iterative development.
  • Skilled in leading project teams and ensuring high-quality output throughout project life cycles.
  • Strong vendor and contract management experience, including tendering and performance evaluation.
  • Certification in project management, such as PMP (PMI) or Prince2 Practitioner, is highly desirable.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $180,000 depending on location and experience.
