Communications Professional

We are seeking an experienced Communications Professional to join our Federal Government Agency, who is dedicated to delivering exceptional internal and external communications.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of proactive and reactive internal and external communications to support key Agency priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development, implementation, tracking and measurement of communications strategies to ensure timely delivery;
  • Contributing to the regular development, delivery and review of communications and engagement content through established communication channels;
  • Preparing high-quality, clear, and accessible written content aligned to approved communications and engagement plans;
  • Maintaining strong internal and external networks to facilitate development and delivery of effective, targeted and timely communication activities;
  • Analysing communications outcomes and participating in discussions within your team on how to build improvements into future activities;
  • Fostering creativity and innovation in content creation across a range of channels.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders at various levels;
  • Adaptable communication style, approach, and attitude;
  • Drive for accountability and outcomes;
  • Public service and government experience is desirable but not required;
  • Australian citizenship is mandatory.
