Disaster Recovery Advocate

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive professional to join our close-knit team in Byron Bay.

">

As a Disaster Recovery Advocate, you will be responsible for liaising with customers and corporate clients who have been impacted by recent weather events to support and guide them through the recovery process.

">

Key Responsibilities:

">

- Manage resident's experience throughout the recovery program, including regular site visits to assist them navigate the repair and rebuilding process.

">

- Manage complex case management issues, complaints, vulnerable customers, and prioritizations, including connecting residents with other recovery services as required.

">

- Work closely with estimating and building teams to ensure residents understand the repair works process.

">

- Regular reporting on progress to senior management and residents.

">

Critical Qualifications:

">

- Hold a Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent Human Services tertiary qualification.

">

- Demonstrated experience in delivering a responsive service to people with complex needs.

">

- Have a current Working with Children Check and a valid National Police Check, or willingness to obtain this.

">

- Possession of an unrestricted NSW driver's license.
