About Us
Kawana Private Hospital is a multi-disciplinary hospital providing four operating theatres with a broad range of surgical services for all patients.
Our hospital includes a ward for patients who require a longer stay to recover. We ensure best practice standards through continuous improvement and regular staff education, prioritizing a positive work-life balance for all staff.
The Opportunity
We are seeking passionate and experienced Registered Nurses to cover the night shift on our Surgical Ward.
Available Positions: Permanent (40 hours per fortnight)
Key Responsibilities
- Previous experience in Surgical Ward Nursing
- Exceptional clinical skills and attention to detail
- Exercises critical thinking and autonomy
- A commitment to safe work practices and patient safety
- The ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- An enthusiastic approach to delivering high standards of nursing care
- Adherence to Nursing and Midwifery Professional Standards, Code of Ethics, and other relevant guidelines such as ACORN
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends
Requirements
- Current AHPRA nursing registration
- Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience
- Availability to work across all shifts, in particular night shifts
