About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team at NT PHN - Northern Territory Primary Health Network. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, culturally sensitive, and effective speech pathology services with a particular focus on paediatrics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide speech pathology services to children and adults in a diverse range of settings, including clinics, homes, and schools.
  • Prepare professional reports in a timely manner for a range of other service providers, including schools, allied health professionals, and families.
  • Ensure clinical accountability through the appropriate use of information systems and maintaining accurate data and statistics.
  • Maintain professional knowledge and skills through active participation in supervision and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Registration with Speech Pathology Australia or equivalent as a practicing Speech Pathologist.
  • Eligibility for a Medicare provider number.
  • Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver services across a complex speech pathology workload in a diverse work environment.
  • Willingness to travel to remote communities by light plane or 4WD, and where required, stay on community for short periods of time.
  • National police check, Working with Children check, and current driver's license.
