Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  1. A valid HR Licence and experience in operating a waste collection vehicle greater than 11t but less than 23t GVM.
  2. Knowledge of servicing, prestart, and closedown requirements of the plant to include truck and any attached machinery.
  3. Sound knowledge of the traffic act and associated legislation relevant to the position.
  4. Ability to achieve a bin lift rate in line with industry standards with reference to residential and rural areas.

You will also need to have basic knowledge of waste collection within Local Government or industry and environmental requirements of collecting and transporting waste.
