Job Title: Dining Services Coordinator

Maintain a well-organized and clean kitchen environment by assisting in receiving and storing deliveries. Ensure that all equipment, tools, and supplies are properly cleaned and maintained.

Critical Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools to achieve a high level of sanitation and hygiene.
  • Wash and disinfect all kitchen and store room areas, including tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
  • Receive deliveries and store perishables properly, ensuring that stock is rotated regularly.
  • Ensure that clean wares are stored in designated areas, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
  • Inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items, sending soiled items back for re-scrubbing and re-washing as needed.
  • Rack and spray all racked items with hot water to loosen and remove food residue.
  • Sort, soak, and wash/re-wash silverware to ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Empty and maintain trashcans and dumpster area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Clean and mop all areas in assigned departments, including floors, walls, and surfaces.
  • Dispose of glass in the proper containers, maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
  • Break down cardboard boxes and place them and other recyclables in the recycle bin, promoting sustainability and reducing waste.

Requirements:

  • Excellent attention to detail to maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
