Job Title: Supply Chain Strategist

As a key player in our organization, you will have the opportunity to shape and manage a portfolio of strategic trade partners. Your primary goal will be to ensure alignment with upcoming projects and develop strategies to drive quality, innovation, and long-term industry partnerships.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategies for your portfolio of trade partners
  • Lead master contract negotiations covering core terms and conditions
  • Oversee performance management across projects, focusing on safety, quality, financials, capability, and capacity
  • Act as the escalation point for trade partner issues, driving resolution and continuous improvement
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Support the evolution of our trade partner engagement framework, including policies, procedures, and performance metrics
  • Contribute to risk management, compliance, and business continuity planning


Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will require:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in vendor management, procurement, or commercial roles - ideally with major contractors or in large-scale construction environments
  • Proven ability to develop and execute portfolio strategies, negotiate complex contracts, and manage supplier performance
  • Strong supply chain knowledge and established industry networks
  • A self-starter with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills
  • A comfortable working environment that includes fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in procurement, supply chain, construction, or related fields are highly regarded
