About this role

Job Description

We are seeking a Family Violence Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide non-legal support to individuals affected by family violence, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes.

You will be responsible for conducting eligibility assessments, making referrals to behaviour change interventions, and establishing relationships with key partners to enhance service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, or social sciences
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of family violence
  • Sound skills in support, crisis containment, and risk assessment
