This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist service that provides first response to those seeking assistance after family violence and child well-being concerns.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide short-term support to individuals impacted by family violence, including advice and referrals.
- Focusing on risk management, safety planning, and making appropriate referrals.
- Conduct child wellbeing checks and complete child wellbeing assessments.
- Complete risk assessments on people using violence.
- Complete MARAM's with Victim Survivors.
- Adhere to documentation and record keeping requirements.
The primary goal is to reduce the risk of harm associated with controlling, violent, and abusive behaviour through comprehensive risk assessment and management strategies.
We achieve this by:
- Providing a visible contact point for individuals seeking specialist support.
- Assisting people in identifying family violence and child well-being issues.
- Offering advice based on contemporary risk assessment tools and guidance.
- Providing specialist support and tailored advice for victims, families, children, and people using violence.
- Coordinating access to support services.
- Maintaining a system-wide view of service capacity, client experience, and outcomes.
