About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our Diabetes team at Medtronic Australia. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing omnichannel marketing activities for our Diabetes portfolio in Australia to drive growth and market share.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and review corporate short and long-range plans, goals, and objectives for specific product or product line
  • Conduct competitive product analysis and market research of product consumer behaviour and professional audience
  • Develop production and marketing strategies and tactics to ensure effective product placement relative to market opportunity
  • Determine the profitability and viability of new products or product enhancements
  • Align advertising strategies with core brand equity
  • Develop and deliver effective sales tools, training, and marketing collateral in collaboration with the sales team
  • Provide strategic input and support for sales presentations and negotiations
  • Direct digital marketing initiatives, including social media campaigns, email marketing, and online advertising in collaboration with our marketing communications team
  • Use data analytics to measure and optimise digital marketing efforts
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in product management and marketing, within the medical device, healthcare or consumer goods industry
  • Proven track record of successful product launches and market penetration strategies
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Highly motivated and results oriented
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for improving patient outcome
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers (both internal and external) at all levels
  • Willingness to travel as required to support marketing activities and customer engagements
