The successful candidate will be part of an accredited training program with the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFRM) and will work closely with healthcare professionals and medical students.
About the RoleAs a Rehabilitation Registrar, you will be responsible for participating in AFRM-accredited rehabilitation registrar training positions, working in inpatient settings, and engaging in regular educational activities.
- Participate in AFRM-accredited rehabilitation registrar training positions
- Work in inpatient settings, including neurological, orthopaedic, and general/amputee units
- Engage in protected training time and regular educational activities
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and medical students
To be eligible for this position, you must:
- Hold an MBBS degree or equivalent
- Be eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a medical practitioner
- Have a minimum of 2 years postgraduate training experience
- Join or be eligible to join the AFRM training program
- Possess sound clinical knowledge, skills, and experience in contemporary medical practice
- Be able to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team
