Emergency Medicine Registrar Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Medicine Registrar to join our team at a state-of-the-art hospital in Victoria. This is an excellent opportunity to work in one of the busiest emergency departments in the state, with approximately 75,000 patient attendances annually.

The hospital is a major teaching centre affiliated with Monash University and Deakin University, offering a wide range of services including emergency, intensive care, aged care, rehabilitation, oncology, mental health, maternity, paediatric care, and Hospital in the Home (HITH).

As an Emergency Medicine Registrar, you will be part of a dynamic team comprising consultants, other registrars, medical officers, and interns. The hospital supports your career development and offers numerous training opportunities and pathways for advancement.

Eligibility criteria include:

  • General, Provisional, or Limited registration with AHPRA, or eligibility to obtain it
  • IMGs who have completed AMC MCQ (Part 1) or both AMC 1 & 2 (clinical exam)
  • IMGs eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (training in UK, USA, NZ, Canada, Ireland)
  • IMGs assessed by ACEM as partially or substantially comparable
  • IMGs interested in the Short Term Training (STT) pathway
  • Experience working as an Emergency Medicine Registrar
