Cloud Services Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Services Engineer to build and maintain our scalable cloud service. As a member of our team, you will work with various Azure technologies to design, develop, and validate components.

The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements, identify dependencies, and develop design documents for products or services. They will also write, optimize, debug, and refactor code to improve performance and maintainability.

Additionally, the engineer will create testable code, advocate for quality throughout the development process, and leverage expertise in product features to coordinate with stakeholders to plan releases.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud development, data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems. At least 2 years of experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms is required, as well as at least 1 year of experience with container runtimes like Docker, Rkt, or runC.

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field AND 4+ years of engineering experience with languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python (Golang and C# preferred) is mandatory. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree plus 8+ years of experience or Master's Degree plus 6+ years of experience in similar roles.
