Job Description

As a Data and Analytics Technical Business Analyst at NCS Australia, you'll play a crucial role in driving data-driven innovation. You'll collaborate with teams across the commission to support better outcomes in aged care and translate business use cases into actionable solutions. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, you'll connect data and analytics to real-world outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify business needs and translate them into actionable requirements for our technical teams.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders, build strong relationships, and create detailed functional specifications and user stories.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proper implementation of requirements, conduct business process analysis, and assist in user acceptance testing and training.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role as a Technical Business Analyst.
  • Business Analysis Techniques: Expertise in various business analysis techniques, such as requirements elicitation, analysis, and validation.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Modeling: Proficiency in using modeling techniques like UML, BPMN, and iDEF0 to represent business processes and requirements.
  • Requirements Management Tools: Experience with requirements management tools to capture, track, and manage requirements.
  • Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence: Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and business intelligence tools, including Power BI.
  • Azure DevOps Platform: Deep understanding of Azure DevOps features and capabilities, including work item tracking, version control, build and release management, and test planning.
  • Agile Methodologies: Proficiency in Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe, with a strong understanding of Agile principles and practices.
  • Certified in BABOK.
