**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a dedicated WHS Safety Administrator to join our team at R.M.Williams. As a key member of the safety function, you will play a vital role in driving safety administration processes across the organisation.

The successful candidate will have a strong interest in Work Health and Safety (WHS), with a genuine eagerness to learn and contribute to the team. If you are passionate about ensuring a safe workplace and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Develop and implement safe work procedures to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and industry best practice.
  • Maintain accurate records of WHS incidents, including investigations and outcomes.
  • Coordinate WHS training programs for employees, including inductions, refresher training, and specialized training as required.
  • Administer the company's Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Monitor and report on WHS performance metrics, including injury rates and incident frequency.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years' experience in a WHS or HR support function role.
  • Certificate IV in WHS or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong working relationships.
  • High attention to detail and time management skills.
  • A basic understanding of WHS legislation and industry best practices.
