The Company
Our client is a highly respected Australian agribusiness which is committed to the development and betterment of the production sector. The Position
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the WHS Manager will be responsible for coordinating all work health and safety duties across the group. This will include the following:

  1. Overall responsibility for the WHS process and training strategy (both external & internal), including policy development
  2. As company representative, driving and leading a positive 'safety-first people culture'
  3. Preparation and coordination of WHS training materials and content for on-going training
  4. Preparation of timely board and ad-hoc safety reports
  5. Managing third-party relationships
  6. Periodic monitoring and audit of all WHS systems, whilst continually evaluating through stakeholder feedback
  7. Attending operational and toolbox meetings onsite, as required

The Person
We are keen to hear from you if you possess the following experience, skills and key attributes:

  1. Demonstrated success in a similar role, with experience gained in manufacturing or operations
  2. Experience executing tailored WHS training programs
  3. Relevant WHS qualifications, including knowledge of current employment laws and practices
  4. Excellent planning, communication and adaptive leadership skills
  5. Proven reporting, systems and IT skills
  6. High-level organisational skills including the ability to effectively prioritise and meet deadlines
  7. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  8. A current driver's license
