At Nutrien Ag Solutions, we're seeking a highly skilled Agronomist to join our team in Devonport, Tasmania. As a key member of our staff, you'll work closely with growers to provide expert agronomic advice and inputs, focusing on horticulture and crop monitoring.

About the Role:

  • Provide superior agronomic advice and inputs to growers in the region.
  • Share information with producers on environmental and seasonal conditions affecting crop production.
  • Conduct soil testing and study other factors affecting production to deliver sound fertiliser, nutrient, and soil recommendations.
  • Conduct field demonstrations and trial work for product development with key suppliers.
  • Collaborate with branch staff to drive promotions, merchandising, and sales performance.

Requirements:

  • A minimum 2-3 years of experience in building successful partnerships with customers, delivering agronomic advice and services.
  • Strong technical knowledge in agronomic practices and application.
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
  • A valid driver's license and a forklift license (advantageous).
