Internship Career Coach Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to facilitate a mutually beneficial internship experience for students and corporate organisations.

A successful Internship Career Coach will be responsible for:

  • Developing an in-depth understanding of each student's skillset, as well as the talent needs of each company.
  • Identifying strong internship matches based on individual skillsets and company requirements, while also forecasting future opportunities and needs.
  • Providing coaching and mentorship to students to enhance their skills in areas such as resume writing, interviewing, and career life preparation.
  • Delivering job skills training through both individual and group sessions.
  • Offering ongoing support to students and organisations throughout the placement cycle, fostering open communication and developmental feedback.
  • Ensuring exceptional customer service in all interactions, with a solution-focused approach.
  • Updating databases for reporting purposes.
