About the Role

Skechers Australia is seeking a dynamic and passionate Store Manager to join our team in a retail store environment. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring the efficient operation of the store to achieve optimal results in sales targets, KPIs, store presentation, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control, and shrinkage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Motivate and inspire a team of sales associates to achieve optimal results in KPIs and added value targets.
  • Store Operations: Ensure efficient operation of the store, including stock control, visual merchandising, and wage control.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Drive sales and provide exceptional customer service to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets.
  • Training and Development: Coach and mentor sales associates to maintain high team morale and encourage individual development.
  • OH&S Management: Ensure efficient OH&S management and adhere to state and national OH&S legislation.
Requirements
  • Experience: Demonstrated Retail Store Manager or Senior Assistant Store Manager experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership Skills: A passion for leading and inspiring a team to succeed and perform at their best.
  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to think strategically to identify missed opportunities and drive sales and KPIs.
  • Operational Excellence: Experience with stock control, visual merchandising, and wage control.
