Plant Transformation Project Lead

This position is responsible for overseeing plant transformation projects and leading a team of experts to achieve key objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple transformation projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and quality results.
  • Supervise a team of scientists and researchers in the development of new plant transformation methods and techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to communicate project progress, timelines, and results.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and collaborators to advance research and development initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualifications or extensive experience in plant science, genetics, physiology, or biotechnology.
  • Demonstrated expertise in conducting independent scientific research, supervising research students or personnel, and publishing high-quality papers.
  • Successful execution of complex projects with tight deadlines and budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires a strong understanding of plant biology, molecular biology, and biochemistry. The successful candidate will be able to think critically, solve complex problems, and drive innovation.
