Job Overview:

As a Registered Midwife, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional care and support to women during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to women and their families
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve excellent patient outcomes
  • Identify and prioritize key issues, concerns, and messages
  • Engage proactively with patients/clients to enhance service delivery and guide others in service excellence
  • Apply professional and ethical boundaries in complex situations
  • Utilize strong computer skills and familiarity with health information systems
  • Contribute to risk management, safety, and quality initiatives
  • Commit to breastfeeding policy and BFHI principles
Requirements:
  • Current registration as a Registered Midwife with the National Nurses and Midwives Registration Board
  • Proven high-level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills
  • Minimum 1 year postgraduate experience in women's health surgical, midwifery, or neonatal/paediatric settings with appropriate registration (RN or RM AHPRA)
