Village Manager Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Village Manager to lead our dedicated team at Windsor Park in Geelong, surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens offering resort-style amenities and a vibrant environment for residents and our team to interact and enjoy.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Foster a warm, inclusive environment with a rich calendar of social events and inviting communal spaces for residents.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the village, including maintenance, service providers, and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Be the friendly face that listens to concerns, solves problems, and ensures residents are happy, healthy, and thriving.
  • Plan and oversee engaging activities from themed dinners and movie nights to gardening clubs and fitness classes.
  • Lead a passionate team of staff who share your commitment to creating an exceptional living experience for our residents.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent people management skills to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
  • Strong financial acumen with demonstrated experience in budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Proven experience in asset management ideally within property, facilities, or retirement living.
  • A proactive solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to resident wellbeing.
  • Operational management experience with strong organisational, consultative and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite and online applications.
  • Resilient problem-solver who can think on their feet and handle challenges with ease.
  • Customer-centric with a genuine love for working with seniors.
  • Compassionate with a deep understanding of the unique needs of independent living seniors.
Requirements:
  • First Aid and CPR certificates and driver's license with own transport; willingness to complete where not held.
