Healthcare Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced healthcare professional to join our team as a Medical Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will be responsible for greeting patients, handling incoming calls, and managing appointments using medical software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting patients and handling incoming calls professionally
  • Managing appointments, referrals, and billing using medical software
  • Processing patient payments and Medicare rebates
  • Assisting with administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Supporting doctors and clinical staff with patient coordination

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare setting (experience in a specialist or GP setting is advantageous)
  • MUST have experience with medical booking software (Best Practice & Cliniko)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A warm, caring, and professional personality
  • High attention to detail, organisation, and multitasking
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Permanent residency in Australia (eligibility to work in Australia is required)
