As a Cloud Architect at Amazon, you'll have the opportunity to work on hyper-scale services in the cloud, designing and building complex software systems that directly impact the lives of millions of users worldwide.

A day in the life of an AWS engineer is dynamic and fast-paced. You'll collaborate with talented team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology, and evaluate technical feasibility. Your skills will be put to the test as you write high-quality distributed system software and drive engineering best practices.

About the team:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 3+ years relevant experience in software development
  • Experience working with algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis, and object-oriented software design in Linux/Unix environments
  • Proficiency with one or more general-purpose programming languages, including Python, Java, Typescript, Scala, Golang, C++, or C#

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of best practices for the full software development life cycle
  • Track record of designing and building complex software systems and successfully delivering them to customers
  • Exposure to architecting and designing large-scale distributed systems
