We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our product team at Procreate.

About the Role:

As a senior engineer, you will play a key role in building and maintaining next-generation Procreate products and features. You will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge software solutions that meet the needs of millions of artists and designers worldwide.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Solve complex technical problems with creative and innovative solutions
  • Collaborate with designers to turn prototypes into shippable products that exceed user expectations
  • Create custom controls, aesthetically pleasing layouts, and seamless animations that delight users
  • Protect quality, ensure performance, and demonstrate care for our users through rigorous testing and debugging
  • Deliver major features to our global community of artists and designers

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has a deep understanding of Swift programming language
  • Can combine technical expertise with artistic vision to create stunning software experiences
  • Has hands-on experience shipping high-quality software with responsive, interactive UI
  • Is proficient in UIKit and iOS development, with a passion for creating beautiful and intuitive interfaces
  • Has a proven track record of debugging, profiling, and resolving performance problems

Bonus Requirements:

  • Experience creating custom UIKit controls that elevate the user experience
  • Knowledge of AppKit for macOS development, with a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Ability to design and implement powerful APIs and libraries that drive innovation
