We're looking for a skilled and experienced developer to join our team in Hobart, Australia.
The RoleThis position sits within the Product team and reports directly to a senior leader.
You'll work closely with other engineers, designers, quality assurance, and executive members to drive innovation and growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with designers to transform prototypes into market-ready products
- Delivering major features to millions of users worldwide
- Providing technical leadership through mentoring, library development, and code reviews
- Solving complex technical problems and finding creative solutions
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A deep understanding of programming languages and their ecosystems
- Knowledge of multi-threaded concurrency and parallelism approaches
- Experience making informed technical decisions for a team and seeing them through
- Strong skills in debugging, profiling, and resolving performance issues
- A proven track record of developing scalable software systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
In your first 12 months, you can expect to:
- Complete the onboarding process
- Take ownership of your first initiatives and drive them forward
- Provide support to existing products and services
- Gain an in-depth understanding of product development practices
- Prepare and support the execution of core product features
- Contribute to the development and launch of new products
