As a key member of the Economic Strategy Division, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the state's economic direction.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Executive Director in leading and managing the team's responsibilities and functions, ensuring seamless coordination and effective collaboration.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with government agencies to influence policy agendas and deliver high-quality public policy initiatives.
  • Build strong partnerships with clients and stakeholders to address complex economic challenges and drive meaningful outcomes.
  • Provide visionary direction for research, analysis, and economic policy advice, ensuring alignment with the division's objectives.
  • Represent the Economic Strategy Division on intergovernmental committees, fostering collaborative relationships and promoting the division's interests.
About You:
  • Proven ability to lead and provide expert analysis, modelling, and advice on complex economic policies, driving informed decision-making.
  • Strong leadership skills, authority, and influence to manage client requirements and team priorities, achieving outstanding results.
  • Demonstrated capability in preparing comprehensive reports and submissions within tight timeframes, maintaining exceptional quality standards.
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing junior staff, fostering a culture of growth and development.
