Culinary Operations Manager Position

This role is responsible for overseeing the daily culinary operations of a prominent Melbourne-based site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing food preparation, presentation, and on-site operations, as well as overseeing food and labor cost management.

Key to this position is a strong leadership and communication style, combined with trade-qualified experience in commercial cookery and a food safety supervisor certificate.

Responsibilities:
  • Leading the kitchen team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality food products
  • Managing food costs and labour expenses to achieve budget targets
  • Maintaining adherence to food hygiene and safety standards through effective implementation of quality control measures
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
  • Prior experience in kitchen operations and/or site management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
