Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Job Coach to work with job seekers within our program. This role involves preparing individuals for employment, placing them into sustainable jobs and actively marketing them to potential employers.

Main Responsibilities:

- Place job seekers into long-term employment;
- Undertake marketing activities to build connections with local businesses and promote job seekers' skills;
- Gain insight into local labour market needs and match job seekers' skills accordingly;
- Support and motivate job seekers to find their own employment through various activities;

Skill Requirements:

- Ability to motivate and encourage job seekers;
- Proven experience working with targets and performance indicators;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to successfully manage a caseload;
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office; and
- Previous experience in the employment services sector (desired).

Essential Skills:

  • Motivation and drive to achieve customer service and sales targets;
  • Able to motivate and encourage job seekers;
  • Proven experience working with targets and KPIs;
  • Ability to successfully manage a caseload;
  • Intermediate skills in the use of the Microsoft Office computing package;
  • Previous employment services experience will be highly regarded;
  • Must have a car and drivers licence
