Leadership Role in Clinical Operations

We are seeking a skilled and experienced healthcare professional to take on a leadership role in clinical operations at our rehabilitation facility.

This position requires strong clinical knowledge, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage a dynamic and changing environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in acute or rehabilitation settings and be able to provide clinical operational direction for the unit.

  • This is a leadership role that will require you to provide clinical leadership to the ward, complementing the strategic direction, operational processes and quality management of all patients.
  • You will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence based and ensuring efficient and effective management of human, financial and material resources.
About the Position

This is a full-time opportunity with a rotating roster including night duty and weekends.

The successful candidate will be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial and material resources.

Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing clinical operational direction for the unit
  • Coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence based
  • Managing a team of healthcare professionals
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports
  • Contributing to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Current Police Check (within the last 12 months)
  • Working with Children's Check – employee
  • Blood serology testing (dated in last 12 months)
  • Experience in the Acute / Rehabilitation setting
  • Grade 2, Year 4 or above
  • Sound clinical knowledge
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive role modelling behaviours
  • Excellent customer service focus, time management and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to manage a dynamic and changing environment
  • High degree of computer literacy including MS office and various data bases
