Project Coordinator and Estimator

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and contribute to tender materials, including estimates, schedules, and methodologies.
  • Oversee project delivery, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Administer project deliverables, including scheduling, quality control, reporting, and documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Manage project finances, including preparing payment certificates and tracking costs.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure timely project completion and specifications are met.
  • Implement proactive project risk management and scope change procedures.
  • Prepare accurate estimates for construction and fabrication projects.
  • Participate in site inspections and collaborate with internal and external teams for smooth project execution.
Requirements:
  • Manufacturing-related trade certificate.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a fabrication workshop as a boilermaker or welder.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and experience within the Mining, Construction, or similar industries.
  • Ability to scope, plan, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, including MS Project and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of the resources industry, including key client contacts and project experience.
  • Experience in estimating systems and databases.
