We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Casa Bar and Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the overall operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management.
- Determine the presentation of food and create visually appealing displays.
- Inspect raw ingredients to ensure quality and safety.
- Maintain a high level of culinary skills and knowledge to prepare menu items.
- Plan and estimate food and commodity costs for menus.
- Prioritize tasks, manage budgets, and control labor and food costs.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and training to kitchen staff.
- Utilize kitchen equipment and utensils to prepare ingredients and meals.
- Meet with customers to discuss menu options for special occasions.
- Monitor and regulate kitchen equipment to ensure food quality.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef.
- Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery.
- Supervisory skills.
- Confident approach and results-driven.
- Flexibility with hours and approach.
- Good communication and technology skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure to deliver timely and quality results.
